Fillmore West 1969 - Grateful Dead. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Fillmore West 1969 is a three-CD album composed of selections from four concerts by the Grateful Dead. These concerts, performed on four consecutive nights from February 27 through March 2, 1969, were the basis for LiveDead rock's first 16-track live album, released in November 1969. In addition to the three-disc set, the entire run of four nights was released as The Complete Fillmore West 1969, a 10 compact disc set that was limited to 10,000 copies. The material was taken from the Grateful Dead's run of eight shows over four nights February 27 through March 2, 1969 at the Fillmore West in San Francisco. These were the same concerts that yielded most of the definitive LiveDead 1969. By the spring of 1969, the ever-evolving personnel had grown to include Mickey Hart percussion - whose contributions began in September of 1967 - and six months later, Tom Constanten keyboards. By 1969, the Grateful Dead's marathon free-form performances were fundamentally expanding the known boundaries of rock music. Grateful Dead Records' new 3-CD gold mine presents a bounty of iconic Dead songs recorded at their now-historic Fillmore West dates from February 27 to March 2, 1969. Indulge in the essential Grateful Dead at the Fillmore in 1969, the cosmic peak of their phenomenal rise to global superstardom. The 1969 double album LiveDead holds a special place in the Deadhead universe indeed, many band members and their inner circle consider it to be the bands best overall collection as well.
