Very nice album and fitting tribute to Kenny Drew who passed away the year prior to this recording. NHOP was a virtuoso, and his facility is very much in evidence here without being overly extravagant. Kenny Drew's relaxed swinging style was the perfect compliment and they toured together extensively. It's interesting to contrast Niel's playing with different pianists and he played with some of the best.
